Ruth’s Parkside Cafe

06 Nov 2016 / in ,

Ruth’s Parkside Cafe in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati is the new incarnation of a much beloved downtown¬†restaurant called Mullane’s. It was known for many years to be the date-night favorite of the alternative crowd, and it was next door to a movie theater, the Real Movies, with an equal cult following.

Ruth’s owners David Tape and Mary Kroner carried on the legacy of their days at Mullane’s in an updated location but wanted to keep Mullane’s eclectic feel. Dish Design helped them coordinate funky interior elements (like reclaimed stamped metal screen light fixtures) with graphics that would speak to their loyal customer base that ranges “from tattoos to pearls.”
